Frequently Asked Questions

How Much is Therapy?

We Accept Kaiser, United, and Medicaid health insurance as well as Private Pay.

PRIVATE PAY
All Minds Counseling provides therapy at a rate of $150-$175 for 50-minutes sessions. If you and your therapist decide that more time would be beneficial and or necessary (typical for more in depth family or couple sessions) the rate is prorated in 15 minute increments.

All licensed therapists (Emily Schleich, Katy Morgan, and Liz Cason) charge $175/50 minute sessions.
All Pre-licensed therapists (Ben Jessell, Juliana Sapp, and Emma Taylor) charge $150/50 minute sessions.

*Payment is expected at the time of service and will be made online using our HIPAA compliant HR system. All major credit cards accepted including FSA/HSA cards. If you would rather pay by check or cash let us know ahead of time. Regardless of payment method a credit card will be kept securely on file.

INSURANCE

All Minds Counseling now accepts Medicaid, United, and Kaiser insurance. If you are planing to use Kaiser, United, or Medicaid insurance please call your insurance company to inquire about your behavioral health deductible and copays- this is your responsibility to be aware of your benefits. You will be responsible for all deductibles and copays associated with your insurance.

*We require all clients to have a card on file for copays, late cancelled/no show appointment fees, and any medical insurance lapse that may occur while receiving services.

Superbills For All Other Insurancs

We are in network with Kaiser Permanente insurance as well as Medicaid.
We are NOT in-network with any other insurance plans, however we can provide a “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. We are an “out-of-network” mental health provider that may be reimbursed by your carrier depending on your plan. A “superbill” is a receipt of payment for services that can be provided at the end of each month.

Questions to ask your insurance carrier:

  • Does my health insurance plan cover mental health services? Does my plan cover in-network and out-of-network providers?

  • Do I have a deductible? If so, how much is it and have I met it?

  • Does my plan limit how many mental health sessions I can receive per calendar year?

  • Do I need written approval in order for services to be covered?

Cancellation Policy

Life happens, we get it. We ask that you reschedule or cancel your session 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time in order to avoid being responsible for the full session rate. All private pay, Kaiser, and United (private insurance) clients are responsible for a fee of $85 for any late cancel or no show appointments.

*Due to the high need for after school/work hours if you cancel/no show an evening appointment with less than 48 hours notice you may risk losing your spot.

What about COVID?

We are constantly changing practices to align with state guidelines and DORA regulations. We will update you throughout treatment on any changes regarding mask mandates or other requirements. We do follow expected protocol and require masks when a mandate is in place. You have the right as our clients to request we wear masks at any time despite lifted mask mandates. We are continuing to provide the option for telehealth if that fits your needs and safety, just let us know.
