My name is Stephanie Dunlap and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe we all have the keys to our own healing within us, and the safety of the therapeutic relationship provides the ground for unlocking that healing. As a highly relational therapist, I am committed to meeting clients, couples, and families where they are, while gently challenging unhelpful narratives and stuck points through a variety of therapeutic approaches.

I particularly enjoy using creativity, playfulness, and humor in therapy when it's appropriate. I also have a special interest in serving clients who have experienced trauma. To that end, I am trained in providing EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for clients of all ages, having earned additional EMDR Child Specialist and EMDR Sandtray Specialist certifications.

A former print news reporter, I worked in a number of social service nonprofits before completing my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2018 with concentrations in Mental Health and Family Systems. Since then, I've served clients of all ages through outpatient mental health agencies as well as in an elementary school, at a women’s prison, in private practice, and on the streets with individuals experiencing homelessness.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, spending time with friends, running, eating dark chocolate, and relaxing with my partner, cat, and two dogs.
