At All Minds Counseling, we offer parent coaching in Colorado for caregivers of neurodivergent kids and teens, providing guidance that is affirming, practical, and grounded in real-life needs. Parenting a child with ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, or other neurodivergent traits can be deeply rewarding—and also complex. Many parents find themselves navigating meltdowns, school challenges, emotional overwhelm, and systems that don’t always understand their child. Our goal is to support you with tools, insight, and confidence so you can show up for your child in ways that feel effective and aligned with your values.
Our approach to parent coaching is neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed. We do not focus on compliance-based or punitive strategies. Instead, we help you understand your child’s nervous system, communication style, and underlying needs. Behaviors are viewed as communication, and together we explore what your child may be expressing through their actions—whether it’s overwhelm, sensory needs, difficulty with transitions, or challenges with executive functioning.
In parent coaching, we work collaboratively to build strategies that support emotional regulation, reduce conflict, and strengthen connection. This may include tools for navigating meltdowns and shutdowns, improving transitions and routines, supporting executive functioning, and fostering emotional awareness and communication. We also help parents advocate within school systems, set realistic expectations, and create environments that better support their child’s success.
We recognize that parenting a neurodivergent child can come with its own stress, self-doubt, and burnout. Our Colorado therapists provide a supportive space for you, too—helping you process your experiences, build confidence, and feel less alone in the journey. Whether your child is young or a teen, we tailor coaching to your family’s unique needs and dynamics.
At All Minds Counseling, we believe there is no one “right” way to parent—only what works for your child and your family. We’re here to help you build connection, understanding, and sustainable strategies that support both you and your child.
