Teen Therapy in Colorado

At All Minds Counseling, we provide teen therapy designed to meet adolescents where they are—with authenticity, respect, and connection. The teen years can be full of growth, identity exploration, and increasing pressure, and many teens experience anxiety, depression, social challenges, school stress, and emotional overwhelm. Our therapists create a space where teens feel seen, heard, and understood without judgment, helping them build confidence and navigate life in a way that feels true to who they are.

Our approach is neurodivergent-affirming and trauma-informed, supporting teens with ADHD, autism, and other neurotypes without trying to change or “fix” them. Instead, we focus on strengthening social-emotional skills, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and executive functioning in ways that align with each teen’s strengths and needs. We also support teens in navigating friendships, identity, boundaries, and the pressures of school and social environments.

We incorporate creative and relational approaches, including elements of Geek Therapy—using video games, storytelling, and media that teens already connect with as tools for engagement, self-expression, and growth. By integrating gaming, pop culture, and special interests into therapy, we build stronger rapport and create meaningful opportunities to explore emotions, practice problem-solving, and develop real-life skills in a way that feels natural and motivating.

Caregiver collaboration is an important part of teen therapy, while still respecting the teen’s need for autonomy and privacy. We support parents in understanding their teen’s emotional world and provide tools to strengthen communication and connection at home.

At All Minds Counseling, we believe therapy should feel relevant, empowering, and engaging for teens—helping them build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and move forward with confidence.
