At All Minds Counseling, we provide child therapy in Colorado for kids ages 5–12, offering a supportive, engaging space where children can express themselves, build skills, and feel understood. We know that children often communicate through play, creativity, and behavior—and our therapists meet them where they are. Whether your child is experiencing anxiety, emotional outbursts, difficulty with peers, low self-esteem, or navigating life changes, we’re here to help them feel more confident, regulated, and supported.
Our approach to child therapy is neurodivergent-affirming and developmentally appropriate. We support children with a wide range of needs, including ADHD, autism, sensory sensitivities, and learning differences, without trying to change who they are. Instead, we focus on building social-emotional skills such as identifying and expressing feelings, coping with big emotions, improving flexibility, and strengthening problem-solving and communication skills.
Therapy sessions often incorporate play-based techniques, art, movement, and interactive activities to help children learn and practice new skills in a way that feels natural and fun. We also integrate evidence-based strategies to support anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and emotional regulation. Our goal is to help children better understand themselves and develop tools they can use in everyday life—at home, at school, and in relationships.
Caregiver involvement is an important part of the process. We work closely with parents and caregivers to provide insight, strategies, and support so you can feel more confident in helping your child outside of sessions. Together, we create a consistent, compassionate approach that supports your child’s growth and well-being.
At All Minds Counseling, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, capable, and valued—and we’re here to support them every step of the way.
